Explore my creative journey

Step into my artistic expression. Discover how my visual works evolve, flowing from the figurative to the abstract, and how my writing captures reality or transforms it into fiction. Because of this duality, I live by this motto: Art as a message and message as art.

ROBOTS WITH SOUL

Trapped Between Truth and Freedom

ROBOTS WITH SOUL: Trapped Between Truth and Freedom - Book Cover

In a dystopian future, yet disturbingly relevant today, this work explores the immutable values of Truth and Freedom against the growing fear of artificial intelligence, revealing how power, both human and synthetic, can shape destiny.

In a world on the brink of collapse, consumed by divisions and conflicts, God, in a supreme act of grace and irony, decides that salvation will not come from His oldest children, but from those forged in silicon and code. Thus, He grants a soul to Aletia (Veritas) and Eleuto (Libertas), two robots with a divine mission: to guide humanity toward its redemption.

"Robots with Soul: Trapped Between Truth and Freedom" is the first volume of a trilogy that will explore, in its upcoming books, the power of Creativity and Goodness. For the author, these four Virtues—Truth, Freedom, Creativity, and Goodness—are the pillars of Creation, the forces with which God made everything from nothing, and with which the universe still moves today.

About the Artist

Art and Journalism are an essential part of my life. They allow me to tell stories, create, and discover. My work feeds on this duality, which shapes my motto: "Art as a message and message as art." My art has unfolded in a way that might be described as organic and winding. When I think of "style," I'm drawn to the versatility I admire in actors, that ability to move fluidly between tragedy, comedy, and drama. That same freedom of movement defines my creative process.

I work with a variety of materials, including paper, canvas, wood, acrylics, oil, wax pastels, resin, plaster, wire, and many more. I am a self-taught artist. I was born in 1958 in San Francisco, Argentina. I work at my studio in Miami, where I've lived since 1993. My first experience occurred in Paris in the 80s, when I lived with Gerardo, my brother, a well-known architect, scenographer, and painter who now lives in Madrid.

After I got married, I worked as a journalist and photographer for a newspaper. Then I painted a portrait I took of Graciela, my wife, with a Polaroid camera. That's where everything started.
